Fall 2013 – New Bug in Town

Colorado Arborists, City Foresters, and Nurserymen have been waiting and hoping we might be spared, but the Emerald Ash Borer has been found in where else: Boulder Colorado! This insect was some how imported to the United States from Asia and was first found in Michigan back in 2002. It has since then spread to 21 states killing an estimated 50 million ash trees.
